  1. Neither country provides 'migrant benefits'. The fact you are asking makes you a poor candidate to immigrant to either of those fine countries.

What's in it for me is a crappy attitude to have when it it comes to immigration.

What do you have to offer is a more relevant question

  2. Australia is pretty tough of immigrants. Unless you're a permanent resident (or there are treaties between Australia and the country of your nationality) they won't give health care to you. They don't really offer much (if any) freebies to migrants and to be legally in Australia you have to show that you won't rely on public funds.

They don't offer permanent residence straight up. You have to live in the country for a few years before you even qualify for that.

Australia is ranked 31st on "good places to go for asylum seekers" in terms of how many people they accept. Well behind Canada, Sweeden etc.

  3. They have no migrant benefits, before they accept you to come and live there you have to have a profession that benefits them such as a Nurse, Air Traffic Controller. If you are not educated and have a beneficial job they will not accept you. The only other way is if you were to file as a refugee and that would have to be from some third world nation like Korea, Philpines, Africa, Cuba. Otherwise they don't want you if you do not have a skill to offer them.

  4. what are migrant benefits?

Benefits to you after you leave the country?

I know Australia has disabled pensions for disabled australian children who keep those pensions all their lives no matter where in the world they go.

Canada as far as I know does not have that.

health benefits? canada has healthcare for all legal residents living in Canada, and childrens benefits for children under 6 and under 18 (there are 2 different child benefits)  but you cannot get those benefits if you leave the country.

  5. Australia is like the US

    New Zealand is like Canada
