As a moderator, how do I prevent forwarded mail and mail addressed to multiple recipients?

Members of related groups are getting four and five copies of the same message because some people post the same thing (usually from someone else's post) to all the groups to which they belong. Talking with the worst offender has done no good--and several people have tried by phone, email and at lunch. Some email groups do not allow forwarded mail or mail addressed to several recipients. How can I have my yahoo group do that? I can't spend my time checking each post that comes through.

  1. mail forwarding is a TOS violation. you cant do tis without the posters permission. you cant prevent it but those whose posts were sent to others outside your group that you are aware of can be reported

    Yahoo! Groups Guidelines

    http://groups.yahoo.com/local/guidelines...

    item number 4

    yahoo abuse form

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

simply set up rules, and remove memebrs who you know violate Yahoo TOS
