As a muslim lady, how do you express your interest to a guy?

Im asking on behalf of my sister in law. I am happily married with kids, so its not for me..lol. She is in her late 20s and really liked a guy, he is a good muslim brother and she is too shy to ask him about it. He has been hinting to her, like 'u wouldn't like me right?'..and other things, most of the time she didnt reply as she is too shy. but now she told me she kinda like him. I know i am in the wrong category, but i want answers from fellow muslimahs or even muslim brothers, please help.Thanks

First of all, talking to each other without any mahram shouldn't happen. Or does he want to invite her to zina'? Zina' isn't just part of the legs. If your sister wasn't ashamed and shy, she had commited a worse sin...

Second if he had intressed in her, he had send his father to your house, to official ask her "hand"... In this way (hinting), i would swear by Allaah, he is looking something else besides marriage...

Third, if she started to like him based on the hinting part, i would shake your sister if i was you. She shouldn't hap to the first guy that has showed interest in her. Let her mahram search for a good guy and let her talk to him with a mahram aside.. If they both agree then the marriage should take place and they should only see/speak each other when her mahram is with her. Out of her protection.

If he was a good muslim brother (according to your sayings) he had asked her behind a screen, because it would be pure for the heart.

If he likes her, then he will be interested in marrying her.If that is what his approach is then you should help them in way that you can tell that guy that if he wants to marry your sister in law he should send his proposal in a respectable way through his parents to her guardians and if he has any confusion whether the girl likes him or not, so tell him that she is happy with this.
