  1. Yeah I sure did...Not my absoulte worst nightmare, but it was bad enough.  My oldest daughters dad decided one day the he wanted to be involved more in her life and took me to court.  Well after pretty much being a single parent to her for the 7 years of her life (at the point) I figured he didn't have a chance.  Well he did cuz the court systems are g*y, and he got shared custody.  Now my poor child has to be tossed back and forth every other week from my house to his house for a week at a time.  She cries all the time and at the age of 8 has been diagnosed with depression and seeks counceling.  Howd I deal with it?  I was mad and still am and I cry alot.  What else can you do

  2. Sort of. I was useing the bathroom and my son, at the time he was 2, managed to open the door to the apartment we where living in. I couldn't find him any where and we lived near a busy high way on one side and woods on the other. I searched on my own for about 10 minutes and then called 911. They sent out a search party and was just about ready to get the sniffing dogs out when we found him only about 5 feet away from the apartment in a storage room hiding. I think he did this just to play hide and go seek like we where playing the day before, but to say the least caused a lot of havoc. I hugged him and let the police officer give a little lecture about not leaving the apartment with out me with him.

Then we bought a alarm for the door that would go off when opened, because my son knew how to unlock the door. Despite these methods my son has time and again gotten out of locked doors, climbed over fenses, and hidden under trailers. Every  time i search with a panic and get anybody to help me look for him that I can. He's 4 now and his over grown game of hide and seek still manages to tare a panic into me. When I find him he laughs and thinks its funny. I try to keep a close eye on him and listen for the silense because if he is quit he is up to something. I know he is just being a boy, but I think he might drive me insane by the time he is a teenager.

  3. No my son is too young for anything like that to happen.

  4. My children children were taken away from me by the state of new jersey for spanking my then 5 year old (her sister was 1 at the time). I work, own a home, don't do drugs or party. My children were my life. The state put a parent aid in my home to supervise me and when I refuse to let her in one night the took me to court and removed my children for 9 months. They were in foster care the whole time and they have been home for one month. It is not completly over and they want me to allow my child to lie and not be disciplined. I told the school that my 6yr old could not go to the movies as a punishment for stealing and they told me that was abusive because punishment should not be outside my house. They come to my house all the time, they made me leave a house I own and rent an apartment, I am not allowed to have a babysitter under 21 who has to go through a 6-8 week background check and they have made me lose 3 jobs. I went from making 45k a year to 25k on last years returns. I love my children and I will always put them first. But having the state scruitinize my life and make me unable to move without their consent but still have the ability to take my children is my NIGHTMARE

  5. Yes my worst nightmare has come true, my son was mollested about 4 years ago.   I called the police, removed him from the situation, sought counseling and followed up with the police report.  I also called CPS and reported it and hired a lawyer to make sure justice was done.
