  1. iwould say f u mcey ds

  2. well they do that with all movies so if u want them to stop with one u need to tell them to stop with all and if ur not happy with it dont go there .

  3. I don't like it because it's not even a movie they could watch without parental guidance.  They should keep it to things like "Shrek".

  4. It bothers me when companies (McDonald's, cereal companies, toy manufacturers) market adult movies to children.

As a parent, it's my job to decide what my kids can/cannot see, regardless of who's selling toys. (There are even some PG rated movies that I choose not to let my children see.) But when the ratings board gives something a PG-13 rating, saying even *they* don't think it's appropriate for young children, then I think the company is being irresponsible. (Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, Iron Man, etc.)

Sometimes I have chosen to purchase whatever-it-is (cereal) anyway, and discuss with my child why they *still* won't be seeing the movie. At other times, I've chosen to purchase a different product/go to a different restaurant/purchase something other than the kids' meal, etc. It depends on the situation.

  5. Honestly I would laugh when I heard it.

The companies ARE doing it to make more money, and yes, they are trying to market the movie. However, I am not concerned about the toy that my child gets in their happy meal. If I'm that upset, I can cook at home for a few weeks, or if I have to eat fast food (I dearly hope I won't), I can go to BK.

Oh, and by the way, it was an awesome movie, but I would not let anyone under the age of 14 go see it.

  6. I saw Dark Knight, twice in fact.  I thought it was one of the better movies I've seen in a long time and I hope that the Academy recognizes it.

But it is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a kid's movie.  I do not like the fact that it's been marketed to kids.

Just because a movie is popular, doesn't mean there should be toys made for it.

I mean, we didn't have a Hannibal Lector happy meal did we?

  7. You mean like they always do? McDonald's always sells toys that go along with over-hyped movies. If you don't like it, don't go there.

  8. So?  They hype every new movie that's released, and this isn't the first "adult" movie that has been marketed to kids.  One fast food chain (can't remember if it was BK or McDonald's) had Simpsons toys in their meals.  I don't like it, but it's not the first time it's been done.

Just like with anything else I deem inappropriate for my son, we simply wouldn't buy it.

  9. Well, The Dark Knight is definitely not a movie for young children so I don't think they should sell toys that would attract young kids to the movie.  I know it's up to the parents whether or not their kids see the movie, but that doesn't make sense to make children's toys for a movie that they can't even watch.

  10. I hope they don't, that just isn't right.

At least I won't have to worry about it, my young daughters hate anything that resembles chucky or anything scary so the Dark Knight is pretty close lol, they won't wont those kinda toys.

But yeah I hope they don't cause it's not the kind of message anyone should be sending to young children.

RIP Heath, still so sad over the loss of such a gorgeous man.

I refuse to watch that movie, that d**n movie is what got Heath so messed up in the head in the first place and resulted in his death.

  11. i think thats bs becuz it tells young children "come on lets go see the movie" and if it's not pg or g i dont think it should be in the happy meals they should stick to race cars and barbies!!!
