As a person living in the middle east, how do you feel about american pop culture

i am seeking opinions about american pop culture, if you are a young male living in the middle east i would appreciate your opinion.

If they don't like it, they wouldn't be watching American programs, listening to American music, etc would they?

I just finished reading a true-life novel on the lives of Saudi royals. Apparently their kids enjoy American pop, although not so much the values. And as far as the general public is concerned, they are not even allowed those channels in Saudi Arabia.

Dubai in UAE has an extremely open culture and they r also open to American media, but not so much as the rest of UAE.

I don't know about the rest of the Middle-eastern counties.

A lot of people living in the middle east idolize and admire American pop culture. I have cousins there, that's how I know.
