The CORRECT answer is...it depends on HOW you travel.  If you are FLYING, you must have a passport.  Since you are not a U.S. citizen, you must use your passport from your home country.  If you are traveling by LAND or SEA, you will not need a passport to travel to and from Mexico until after SUMMER 2008.  See website below and read the top half of the page carefully for the CURRENT info.

  3. yes.. isnt it a new law this year that requires passports to everywhere now.. Canada, Mexico, England etc...

  4. Actually, soon even U.S. Citizens will need a passport to travel to Mexico. Why not just sneak into Mexico? Why bother with all that pesky paperwork.

    Recently they changed the rules (last January) where you now have to have a passport no matter what to travel internationally...you just don't have to pay the Mexico departure taxes if you have dual citizenship...
