  1. Grades, IEP, behavioral problems.... basically everything. It is unprofessional to talk to other people about your students

Edit: Unless you know a student is being harmed by law you have to report it

  2. I don't think there really is anything that is confidential.  Do you mean like if a student tells you something?  You can talk to other teachers about it.  I don't know if you should be going home and talking about private things but I don't think there are any real rules.

Teachers talk a lot about their students in the teacher's lounge and especially at meetings.  They often let each other know things (not everything)  it helps them when teaching to know that a student is going through something so they are better prepared to deal with that lack of attention, frustration  etc.

  3. Like the saying, 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas'  That's the case for the classroom as well UNLESS you are discussing the student with their parent and/or your colleagues in the building seeking resource help for the student.

  4. as a teacher u should not tell every one about the private things of ur student like his behavior (unless it is harmful!) and his or her secrets

  5. Everything(like the other person stated), including day to day occurances. You are not suppose to state the child's name like Ashley and Mary got into a fight on the play ground.
