  1. Start by asking if the parents have any concerns about him or his behaviour, what he's like at home etc.  Point out that he can be a handful at times, but don't forget to say all the good things too.  Unfortunately as a society, we are good at telling people when they are doing wrong, not so quick at praising......

  2. My daughters teacher was upfront and honest with us. She led with the good things about her grades and class participation, but then told us that as wonderful a student as our daughter is she has some concerns about her behavior. Then she went into detail. I think hearing about all of the good things first helped to sort of soften the blow but my husband and I definately appreciated her not beating around the bush about it. I think that you should just be honest. Don't be brutal just be honest. Of course you are always going to get the parents that say "no way, not my child" so make sure you document specific incidents and occurances. Other than that just make sure that you are non confrontational and that you present the parents with a plan that allows you all to work together to solve the problem.

  3. First... learn to spell.  It's "mischievous" and don't use ticky tacky abbreviations like "v."  What is that supposed to mean anyway?

Second... just be honest with them about his behaviour.

  4. Praise the child,be honest telling his problems and also try and get to know more about him from his parents moreover don't wait till the PTM,send a note.I am a student of 6th std and i will want my teacher to be polite, loving and praise me also.I will realise my mistakes, try and improve. If not my parents will get extra strict with me.

  5. As a mother of a 6 year is in Kindergarten I would want the teacher to be gentle but also be honest about all the behavior the son was doing. Do you send home any kind of discipline report on the days that he is acting up?My first question would be "Why didn't I hear about this from the beginning?" Some parents sadly will be defensive but you just need to be honest but not attacking. Good Luck!
