  1. Depends on what info you are talking about. It one child hit my child one day without noticeable injury I still want to know about it immediately not wait a week or month or even the next day to hear about it. If my baby or toddler did not eat at all that day it's not an emergency but I still want to know that very day. I quick exchange at pick up time is the more likely answer I would think

  2. C. DAILY

You should let the parents know when they pick up their child anything that happened that day or if the child just had a good day.  "Billy was a big help to me today," or "Billy had a hard time with waiting his turn, but tomorrow we will have a better day" will suffice.  No need to sit them down and do a formal conversation unless it's an issue that needs to be discussed.  I do feel there should be parent conferences, but not everyday to dicuss any progress or talk about what the child does/behaves in class..

  3. Daily communication is key especially with young children or children who can not communicate the day's events to their parents. A brief conversation when a parent picks up the child or a communication note book sent home nightly with updates, questions or concerns keeps the lines of communication open. A monthly or quarterly official report of progress is also common.

  4. What kind of info?

    I think I'd go with A.

  5. You could do a weekly newsletter that explains everything that you did/worked on throughout the week.  This often answers most parents questions.  Then you can talk them about specific issues as they come up.

  6. a & d deffinately, parent conferences are always a yes & daily might get a little annoying
