As a teen mom how can I look more mature?

I'm 19 and have a 3-year-old. I'm very mature, but everyone's first thought is that I'm probably not a good mother, or how can I be so young and have a child.

How can I make myself look older, or more mature? I am a good mother, and my daughter is always happy.

You will always look young! Seriously, you have features that always look youthful. Lucky you! Don't change yourself, your daughter looks well taken care of (and adorable) and the fact that you're concerned about how people see you likely means that you do take great care of your little princess.

If you go for a job interview or something that you need to look more mature for, dress in a mature way. Not old, but a nice skirt or slacks, man-shirt, blazer or jacket with pumps. Put a blazer on over jeans and that can make you look more mature. Simple, classic clothes will give you a sophisticated look. If you're dealing with the public in your job and feel the need to look more mature, you might shorten your hair and wear a smooth or feathered style. (That said, I've always kept my hair long. )

Be confident, do the best you can, and others will realize it. Sometimes being underestimated can be used to your advantage. = )

You are gorgeous and your daughter is a doll! Don't change a thing. Try not to let people get to you, there are going to be hateful people out there no matter how old you are or what you look like. As hard as it may be, just try to ignore them. You and your little girl know you are a good mother and that's all that matters!

The fact that you have a 3 year daughter at age 19 is proof you aren't very mature.  Or least you weren't 3 years and 9 months ago.

The problem is you look like you are still 15.

Just be grateful that when you are 35 you'll still look like your 25.

Wear make up, it will make you look a bit older. You daughter looks happy and girl don't pay attention to what other say. As long as you make you child happy and meet all her social, emotional an physological needs your a good mom. As a fellow teenage i wish you the best with your daughter.

I dont think you need to make yourself look older. Stop worrying about what other people have to say. If you know you are doing a good job raising your little girl than s***w everyone else. Your little girl is beautiful and looks very healthy and clean.
