  1. I love Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Stephenie Meyers, Kate Brian, and Philipa Greggory.

I try to incorporate their styles of writing into my own, (but with my own twist)

    :)

  2. Well, it's more like other peoples' reactions. One day, when they read my book/series, I want to see them respond somewhat similar to it how they did HP or the LOTR. Or at least that's what I'm hoping for. If they react to it how they did HP and LOTR, that would truly be grand.

  3. bret easton ellis and jay mcinerney are my writing 'icons', outside of hemingway and dickens and faulkner and shakespeare- you know, the dudes who will always be better than everyone else.  i enjoy postmodern lit when they do it; they tend to not care much about anything beyond the story line and what they need to appropriately delve into whatever they chose.  they're simple to most, but they are still classically adept, theyd have to be to know how to properly ruin the rules.  but outside people ive never met- my gf, and her cat.  our interactions help me form episodes in a natural and personal and new way- bc it is not bs.  aside from that, people on the street.  i like watching folks when they are themselves, candid, and believe no one to be around taking notes.

  4. My life and my family and friends inspire me to write.  I get my ideas from watching people.

  5. J.K Rowling!

Without her and the Harry Potter books, I would not be as interested in reading and writing as I am today. It is because of her that I gained the persistance and dedication to follow my dreams and publish my first book below the age of fourteen. The Harry Potter books also helped me learn a great deal of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.

  6. Louise Erdrich and Sandra Cisneros (what a tall order but they still inspire me!)

  7. This may sound weird but I have muses... just random people who inspire me.

  8. Margaret Atwood

    Shakespeare

    Mitch Albom

    Nicky Cruz

    D.H.Lawrence

    Hemmingway.

    Dan Brown

    Oscar Wilde

    Tolkien

    C.S.Lewis

Louise Rennison (her humour, she doesn't inspire me so much anymore now that Ive grown out of her market range)

    Stephenie Meyer

    and of course, J.K.Rowling :)

  9. meg cabot

  10. J.K rowling, Edgar allan po, Christopher paolini, stuart hill, C.S. lewis, and deffinately S.E.Hinton. (The book Outsiders touched my heart!)

All of these authors inspire me every day because they are what i wish to be some day and they are marvelous writers. I could read their book all day, and i do!

  11. 1. J.K. Rowling

    2. Harper Lee

    3. Orson Scott Card

    4. George Orwell

  12. Jane Austen

    JK Rowling

I don't think Steph Meyer is my "inspiration" because lotsa people are trying to write books like hers write now, I wouldn't. So I guess she is just a favorite.
