This little piggy voted for Labour, this little piggy voted Tory,

They will both end up in a slaughterhouse, no matter who gets the majority.

  1. Is this a question or you just want a soapbox to express your views?

  2. Well at leased our vote is not corrupted like your 2000 & 2004 election was & if it was we would have the b-lls to do something about it

  3. Obviously, painfully and sphincter-clenchingly American.

  4. I think i would much rather live in a society were the politicians have to get the electorate to vote for them to become a minister than the bribery and corruption of American politics thank you , were any crook with enough money can buy his way into the senate.

  5. A lot better than yours is the only answer that fits.

  6. All systems can become 'corrupt', by the people it employs, our system is a good one, but needs a few tweeks, ie: we should be able to vote out any party with a country ballot, at any time, we should hold an vote of confidence each year, we the people should vote for a PM.  If like at present our government can not do the job they are paid to do and have to really on other outsiders ie: Brussels to make our laws, then the people should have the right to dismiss them all.  I think these and a few more would help the people and country.

  7. in a nutshell yes :)

  8. Hi

How does it "work" you ask ........it doesn't as you can see, this once proud nation is ( thanks to incompetant greedy spineless politicians) now nothing more than Europe's wheely bin. Ray. West York's. U.K.

  9. of all things why ask about english politics??

and by thew way it tony not tory lol

  10. It's "works" my dear.

Also, If you really must use doggerel, try and make it scan a little.

You might notice it's called the "English" language, treat it with a bit of care.

  11. No, usually all the little piggies (Tory + Labour) have their snouts in the trough mate...

  12. It does not work.

  13. It works very well - a lot of people who don't know what they are talking about get together and talk a load of nonsense, all the taxpayers in the country pay them a lot of money for this. When they think they have talked long enough they all decide they should be paid more money to talk even more nonsense. When they have run out of nonsense they hold an election to get some fresh nonsense

  14. That's a good question because no matter who gets voted in they will be watched and scrutinized constantly and if they do the smallest thing wrong then it's published.  Same goes for anyone in their party.  Some lowly MP from some out of the way constituency messes up and the Prime Minister gets blamed.  It's a shame because it's unlikely that someone gets voted in and they have a perfect run.  I suppose it is the same anywhere there is a democracy or maybe us Brits just like to complain a h**l of a lot.

  15. no

is this how the greatest democracy in the world, where anyone can be president, works?

bush > clinton > bush > nearly clinton
