As an American Football fan, watching?

Russel Crowes show about the Souths, I found it very interseting. When I first saw the previews for the show I thouight it would be stupid. I found myself watching it over MLB playoffs. What do you guys think of the show? Do you guys know about the show? I've watched some Rugby but, its hard because I really have no idea what the rules are.

Russell Crow is one of the owners of the South Sydney Rabbitos Rugby League Club. Rugby League is very different to Rugby (Union). Try posting this Q in Rugby League, under Football (Australian). I've played both and League is tougher and more of a "power sport". The current Souths Coach was an old mate of mine , we played at West 15 years ago. I havnt seen the movie, but Souths were the tough working class club and had to fight for survival. Sydney is mostly about Rugby League, not Rugby Union !
