  1. I don't live in the UK, but am certainly familiar with Brit theater. Actually I actually "GET" Brit-Coms.

With no real offense to writers, producers, actors here, there is a different sensibility in the UK, and ANY/EVERY detail is digested, while still perhaps being an entertaining aspect of a piece.

I worked briefly with the Pitlochry Festival Theater org. in Scotland, and the casting director, the general director, the set people, the actors, spare very little expense on DRAMA, in the most minute details, which may be chatted over, later at a pub.

Beyond all that rhetoric, as small as the UK is, essentially, and as diversified as it seems to be, there are major similarities in all who live there. Their history alone, among any histories recorded on the planet, is likely the most dramatic, epic, even violent.

I'm not a fan or that genre or era, but they do it as well as anyone possibly could.
