As an Australian Permanent Resident, I wan to apply for citizenship but can they expedite this process ?

The thing is that I meet the requirements but in order to study further on a government aid, I need my citizenship to come through pretty fast.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Here's a lovely thought. You want everyone to run around and expediate the process of your application for citizenship just so you can quickly get the benefits.
