  1. The FDA isn't charted to approve or disapprove foods, just drugs and other chemicals.  That they, the medical establishment, and the public are inordinately influenced by drug company money is well established, though not always so obvious.  Look at TV ads.  Look around your doctor's office.  How do you think marginal drugs and artificial sweeteners get approved?  They're usually not so careless as to offer overt bribes, at least not in the US, yet.  I would never be hired as an FDA scientist, since I couldn't hide how concerned I was about all the chemicals we purposely pour into our bodies, though we claim to care about air and water pollution.  If offered a bribe, I'd work cautiously with law enforcement and responsible reporters to catch them in the act and prevent a coverup.

  2. Report him for trying to bribe a government offical. Lives are at stake here.

  3. well i certainly wouldnt accept the million $ if that's what youre implying!! my sister has had childhood cancer (ALL) for three years, so i feel VERY strongly about these types of issues. i'd rather have a million $ to donate to cancer research than to cause more of it!!
