  1. I was an established musician, but lost my hearing in 1995 while serving in the Navy. I think it is better than being blind, because I can still stay very active!

I have a Cochlear Hearing Implant, but because of the damage to my ear, only hear "Rythms".  There are no more notes... it's rythmic static!  So instead of playing my trumpet, I play in the percussion section!

In 2005, that was the 10th ann. of my accident, I borrowed a sanre drum & suspended symbal, played and sang a capella to "Little Drummer Boy".  My mom cried!

    I miss my tunes!
