  1. with e-trade that would costs you $7 for the Mac,  plus a slightly higher fee for the penny stock.  depends where it trades

Best case  $14  worst case $32

  2. First of all you should never, ever, ever buy penny stocks.  They are junk.  The brokerage fees are probably in the $10 range per transaction up to about 1000 shares, if you go with a discount broker like Charles Schwab.  I would buy these stocks FLY, FSYS, and GLS.  FLY and GLS are paying out  huge divideds because they are undervalued  and FSYS manufactures and sells component parts that allow regular vehicles to be converted to natural gas powered vehicles. And these are not penny stocks.

  3. well really it depends on how  much is in that share!

&& if its from mac for 3 big stocks with a lot of merchandise plus 10 stocks could caost anywhere form 300$- 1.5 mill or more!

    hope this helps!

  4. It depends on your brokerage firm and broker. The fees are set based on the transaction and not so much the amount purchased.

For such a small amount, the fees will be eating into your return.

Ex. if the fee is $40 for the transaction, and you buy $400 worth of Mac, then even if the stock goes up 10%, you're only breaking even. if you buy $4000 worth of Mac (the fee will still be $40), then you'll break even at a 4% return.
