  1. there are too many factors to compute to answer your question completely.a Formula One car uses aerodynamics to help it slip through the air with the least amount of resistance thereby using less horsepower to get to speed but the wings and tubs create downforce to increase traction thereby increasing rolling resistance, so in theory the factors of ballancing horsepower,aerodynamics and rolling resistance all enable a vehicle to accelerate exponentially.
