  1. Money. And lots of it. Hawaii is one of the most expensive States in the USA. And that's just for food. Rent is crazy expensive out there. Cars? I'm not sure about. But....it should be crazy beautiful in Hawaii. Paradise. Enjoy & thank the person paying your way to go to College in Hawaii. You are one lucky person. Very Blessed. Good Luck & stay out of trouble....

  2. Contact the International Student's Center at your College, who will be more than happy to guide you.

    All the best.

  3. Really all you need to bring with you is your clothes. Think of it as a clearing out exercise, get rid of all the clothes that you either do not wear or that do not fit and pack the rest, included any footwear which you have.

I would also pack one towel and the basic toiletries so that you can freshen up when you arrive. If for your first few days you are staying at an hotel, then this won't be necessary as the hotel will provide them free of charge.

Beyond that, just a few mementos from home and anything treats which will be impossible or hard to find in the U.S. For example brown sauce, decent crisps, marmite, PG tips etc.

Besides the aforementioned you will won't need anything else as the rest of the stuff you can buy in the U.S. once you get settled.
