Boo to dog lover - people like him are why others don't like the English.  To the questioner - as long as Ireland are not playing England I always route for Ireland, same as for Scotland and Wales as well - can you all not be as sporting?  I am sick of hearing we in the northern hemisphere can't play rugby so it isn't just the English that the Southern hemisphere is slagging off.  England isn't just representing the UK but the whole of the northern hemisphere - please get behind them - after all they have done one h**l of a job to get there.

ach go on - support England.  We love Ireland and many of us have irish blood in us (myself included).  Don't let Dog lover rile you - after all he's a dog lover.....which is a bit of a worry 'cos it gives me horrible visions of him with slobbering dogs!  We would defnitely support Ireland so in the interests of all those times I helped hold the heads of my puking Irish mates on the Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire ferry.....

Gangsta, here are reasons not to root for england:

1. England plays a boring style of play, preferring kicks over tries and constantly punting, hoping to win on mistakes by the opponent. If this style proves effective the sport will become even more boring than it already is.

2. The guy who scored the try against france taunted the defender after he scored by sarcastically tapping him. Bad sportsmanship.

3. England supressed your people for centuries.
