As and administrator, what could I do?

If someone is looking up inappropriate things on my computer, how could I catch them? Could I lets say, as an administrator, get a look at what they've browsed and deleted from their internet options in a folder as an administrator....basically, could I route what they think they're deleting, to me, so that I can confirm my suspicions?

  1. Yes you can. Doing this to computers, is called "Keylogging", its useful for tracking users.

a good keylogger can be downloaded here:

    http://www.spyarsenal.com/familykeylogge...

somehow social engineer with your victim to open this file.

    Features:

its invisible so your victim cannot see it in task manager, or in the task bar.

Your victim cannot do anything to stop it, only you yourself can

Also, you have control to the users account, you can delete him, whatever. but if he didn't sign off windows, you can go to the "my computer" then go to the c:/ then documents, then owner, then cookies. you will see his cookies he has currently used, including his data settings, like his profile.myspace, verify, yahoo, advertising, etc.

  2. if you have admin priveleges, set the local computer policy so that the user cannot flush his IE cache, or clean the browser history...then just view it and confirm your suspiciions.

nope...once theyve cleared the IE cache, its gone

  3. look at the cookies on the internet browser. or u could just install a network firewall program.
