    also switching foals at birth is common also ,

    many things go on

    But NOT ALL FARMS AND HORSE PEOPLE ARE BAD

    just a few greedy ones

    also using papers on a horse that has just died

    I can name many things that would turn the race world apart

    but I won't

  4. I have heard of this done and not just in racing, but with jumpers too, people try to cash in on insurance by killing a lesser horse and pass the champ off as the horse that was it's double.

  5. They have lip tattos in the US (and I think europe uses a micochip) to try to prevent this from happening.

  6. I seem to recall a similar thing happening with a point to point race, I don't think paint was involved though, just a change of horses

  7. they never did this in a race, but Seabiscuit had a double named Grog, that they would take for workouts as Seabiscuit
