We're going to Walt Disney World!  No, really, we are.  A mini-honeymoon to Disneyland 3 weeks ago, and in September, we're spending 6 days in the World, 2 days at the Kennedy Space Center, and 2 days driving down to the Keys and Miami.  Christmas itself can be rather crazy at WDW, but if it's early December or early January, it's a bit less crowded, and all the beautiful decorations are up (or so I've heard.)

Where in the world are you based?

I'm in europe and have always wanted to go to Tallinn in Estonia and stay in the three sisters hotel.  If you look at their website they do very nice 3 night lovers escapes and winter themed breaks.  I think that would be wonderful for a winter wedding.

Or again if you're in europe try egypt.  You can stay in lovely 4 star hotels on the red sea for under £500 per person half/full board.  Try going to the Longwoods website.

Where do you live? In the US, which side of the country? That greatly affects air fare.

Puerto Rico, Florida, or a Cruise off the coast of Florida if you leave East. California, Hawaii, or Disneyland if you live in the West.

My hubby and I got back from our honeymoon two days ago - we did Disneyland, then Hawaii. Kauai is awesome - we even did the Zip Line Tour!

Egypt is a lovely place to go, its still around 25-30 in the daytime, temperature does drop at night.

Many people travel to the many of the Caribbean islands that time of year.  The hotels can arrange everything, and you can be married on the beach bare foot and all.  One of my friends took his bride on a cruise and was married by the captain of the ship.  They visited the many islands as part of their honeymoon.

This is my all time honeymoon idea when i get married, which isn't any time soon so i'll tell u mine. So it's great that ur wedding is on xmas case it involves cold weather. I want to go to Aspen or rent a winter cabin all the way up in the mountains and it needs a big fire place and candles and a big white fur rug on the floor, so we could make luv all nite. Oh and  don't forget the champane

Hi canada is a very nice country but it will be cold?? Go to banff or jasper get a log cabin and enjoy the real log fire and fresh country air. Sunny places are south of france or spain.

It depends if you want a snowy honeymoon rent a cabin and go skiing or something then sip ht chocolate by a fireplace or for a beach getaway i would go to mexico. i saw a resort online that was beautiful and it got extra bonus points after i saw s*x and the city movie and her honeymoon would have been in mexico

I do wish people with this question would tell us where they are starting from.

Xmas time will make everything more expensive.

A great idea would be to spend your wedding night and maybe the next night in town in a hotel with your relatives and guests.Enjoy their company.

In January, when the kids are back in school and the prices are down, try a cruise.They are so much fun. You need to book in advance asap and since it is all inclusive[ except alcohol ] you get a lot for your $.
