The hotel Barceló Solymar is situated in a really nice area of Varadero. You can call the hotel and ask for all details you need ([phone]).

I don't know when you would like to go. But, for example, at the end of July, the standard room in single use and with the all inclusive board is 122€ per night. And 136€ if you are two.

No, but I know it's a 5* and is in a ideal location....I've seen some pictures and it looks nice.

Not stayed at the Barcelo but we did go to the hotel for an afternoon in March this year while on holiday in Varadero, we'd been invited to a wedding by a couple we met on our flight so we managed to have a good old nosey round the hotel, it is lovely, the bar and reception area are really nice, the beach is very clean and wide, the food we had at the reception was lovely and the staff were so lovely too, next time we go to Varadero we would like to stay in the Barcelo ourselves, have a great trip Varadero is a fantastic place.
