As between train and coach, what is best way to travel from Heathrow Airport to Oxford to Warwick?

Four of us plan to fly into Heathrow Airport; travel to Oxford for a short stay; and then travel on to Warwick. We will have some luggage. What is the easiest and most enjoyable public transportation to use to get from the airport to Oxford and then on to Warwick?

Heathrow to Oxford:  There is a frequent bus service from the bus station.

Oxford to Warwick:  Oxford to Banbury then Banbury to Warwick, both by train
