  1. Analog is better for automotive, as you cannot use a digital to do a vehicle self diagnostic test. IE you need to watch the needle move on the analog, and the digital doesnt compute fast enough for that to work.

    Not much to do with your question, but I prefer analog for only that reason.


  2. B More accurate than analog multimeters....

    However analog can do one thing better....

    When you have a varying voltage, you will SEE IT....

    And that's great for power supply work or audio work.....

    But when testing, or checking DC voltages, the accuracy of a digital voltmeter is a necessity...it's necessary when measuring resistance, diodes, capacitance....every passive measurement is better on a digital voltmeter !

    So overall, a digital voltmeter is more versatile than the analog meter....

  3. D) none. The display has nothing to do with accuracy. There are bridge meters that are analog and are very accurate and there are extremely accurate digital meters as well. The reverse alo applies.
