  1. well a helicopter is technically like a fan, and im sure in big factories or whatever there are big fans. its not the SPEED of the fan as much as it is the size. a large fan going pretty fast would most definitly suck you into it and pull you in probably by an arm or leg first and rip off the extremities followed by the trunk of the body probably becoming pulled in and wedged in the fan. (remember charlie and the chocolate factory?)

  2. Yes,  I have a fan club and one of my biggest fans was very fast when he hit me in the face!  (ouch!)  I had to file a restraining order, so I guess he is no longer my biggest fan, or is he??  I know that is a little disturbing to some of our viewers!

  3. Of course it can. There was this lady who worked in this huge fishing boat and she decided to clean this machine that looked like a fan used to grind fish. Huge wave struck, another employee fell on a switch that activated the "fan." The lady was still in it, sucked in and her limbs were caught in the blades. People heard her screams and they stopped the fan just in time to save her life. However it took hours to get her out, she was already bleeding profusely and lost both her limbs. Id no one heard her scream and turned the machine off, of course she would've died. The blades would've eated her up.

  4. Yes, but you'd be more likely to die from the blow than from being chopped up.  Fan blades are not at all sharp, and often protected by a cage.  However, fans are usually quite heavy.

  5. Yes. It can cause clotting.

  6. Yes, I believe it could, depending on the size, sharpness and speed of the fan. If one of your appendages were to become caught in it you could easily be cut (if not sliced) by it's spinning blades, resulting in serious injury, if not death.

Is this a fear of yours?
