As far as i have heard and known that bioinformatics soes not hold a good recognition in north india.?

Any idea till wat time would it be recognised in north india. And if i want to study bioinformatics further from sumwhere in abroad then what should i do.Is there any exam to get into this ???????

northern india is still not in the IT league as compared to hyderabad and bangalore.  it will take some time for n india to realize its importance so u shld think of moving there or other country where bioinfo is  big eg usa, and becoming big in parts of europe, singapore, japan
