  1. goto vosa web site all info regarding new law,The speed limit has not changed for vans & trucks just that everyone abused it the new regulation requires you to fit a speed limiter asper hgv so can do no more than 56mph it will be checked at next mot. if your van or truck requires a speed limiter ( depends on age & size of vehicle) & you haven't got one you are for the high jump

  4. All our 7.5 ton trucks are limited to 56mph.. (Used to go 86mph). They are now doing our Ford Transits to 70mph..Which do 90+ ... I work in Construction and although I agree keeping to speed limits, working 140 miles away and having to leave at 17:00 to get home every evening sucks.
