As gas reserves deplete and as electricity will increasingly be generated by sea, wind and solar?

...will gas overtake electricity as the more expensive way (of those two) to heat your home?

(i am aware of insulation, jumpers etc)

  1. IF gas reserves where depleted beyond a certain point, but that's not likely any time soon. Despite what alarmist will tell you, we're not running out of gas any time soon.

    The very same ecowackos that were warning us of the impending ice age and the depletion of oil reserves in the 70s are now warning us of global warming and depletion of oil reserves today. They were wrong then, they're wrong now.

    Ignore them. Live your life reasonably. Be a good steward of the planet and its resources, i.e. use them responsibly. Don't believe every piece of wacky environmentalist clap-trap that you hear. Enjoy life!


  2. I would say yes, it will. Renewable resources will take over non-renewable resources because they will never run out.

  3. I think electricity will be cheaper than gas fairly soon.

    Cartman and Kyle then found out, along with Mr. Johnson, that the actual cure for fuel poverty was heavy doses of cash.
