Sorry to burst your bubble, Pontiac is an American car.

You DO have a Pontiac assembly plant is south Australia, and that only makes sense because Pontiac sells a lot of cars in Australia, and some surrounding countries.

Kind of like we build Toyota, Honda, Saab, Volkswagon, BMW, Nissan, as well as the American car brands here in the U.S., and export a lot of them to surrounding countries, as well as being sold here too.

I used to live just down the road from the Pontiac factory in Detroit, MI. I always got to see the new cars before the general public did. Every once in a while you'd see thier concept cars cruising around to test out. Half of them never even end up being a "real" car on the market.
