It is not a holiday. We do not get the day off. American businesses can't compete globally because of entirely different reasons.

  1. I can't see how you can sit here and call those 19 hijackers "Patriots" - -

  2. I think we should celebrate by lighting up the skies of the middle east.

  3. i imagine you're referring to 9/11. personally i think that most of the media circus surrounding the anniversary is cheesy and exploitative of personal tragedies. i don't think i know a single person who wants to watch any more footage of the planes going into the towers or the towers coming down. it is emotionally manipulative and painful. i think that a moment of silence and a reflection on the way that event has shaped american politics and foreign policy would be more useful and respectful than the neverending tugging of the sentimental strings.

  4. That my wedding anniversary is on 9/11...and I am very sorry all those people died on that day...

  5. ANOTHER day off?!?

No wonder Americann workers are having trouble competing in the global marketplace!!!!
