As part of the commonwealth, an english speaking country?

similar education, lifestyle an etc of the UK, why does an Australian have less access to live in the UK? Why do we get made feel like criminals yet Romanian gypsies (for example)stealing and begging on London streets and living on benefits get the free pass? What is the point of being part of the commonwealth anymore?

Wow!  Since when did Australia become a country of whiners?  I do not think that the UK makes Australians feel like criminals.  If you want to beg on the streets of London, I am sure that you will be treated the same way.  Remember, most people left countries like Britain for a better life in Australia.  Why the push to come back?

This is the price of independence.

Australia is a self governing country with their own limits on immigration, specially from the UK.
