  1. Most politicians will keep the borders open.  They are pandering to illegals as part of a plan to eventually get them the vote, thereby assuring themselves majority landslides in future elections.

Shhh, listen.... does anyone else hear that sucking sound?  Its the sound of American dollars being sucked out of the country by illegals sending money back to their countries, also by all the outsourcing to foreign lands and to the oil producing nations.  (Not to mention our own big business just getting fatter).   We need to do something now or there will be no more middle class soon.   Fight to deport illegals, go to websites listing companies that outsource and refuse to buy from them.   Buy American whenever you can.  But don't buy gas from the big companies, Mobil, Shell, Chevron, etc.  Buy from the little guys.  If income drops for the big guys they will be forced to reduce prices.

  2. No.  This is going to be a .... we give you this, if you give us that.  The Law is out the window.. it is going to be a political resolution that ignores the American People.

  3. Immigration tends to hit a lull when a country is in recession.  This question will swiftly be made moot.

  4. Not important

Better stop the war in iraq. That IS draing resources by hurricaneloads

  5. When unemployment hit 25% like it did int eh Great Depression, then I will believe we are in one. Until then, it's bunk.
