  1. dont be to quick to critize the communist form of government... the us army is very much run like true communism[ think about it] plus in a poor country where many people dont get much of an education communism is the only fair way .. again think about it, how well would you do in a capitalistic country if you had little education and no money ?  sorry this is much of a responce to your question. but  yes of course i see what you mean , our government is getting more and more controlling. i dont think any country in the world has more laws than the usa, WE MAKE MANY LAWS FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY , thats all fine except our constitution guarantees us FREEDOM not safety..... in the words of Winston Churchill, [ and to paraphrase ben franklin] " those who would give up freedom for security, will end up with neither"... think about it.

  2. In someways, yes.

For years China has lived in the shadow of America, and China has by-far the largest population.

In that respect you are becoming like them, you will live in their shadow.

    Your government is appeasing them.

We in Europe know that does not work.

We should all watch our backs, because as good as we believe ourselves to be, others can see through it.

Welcome to the rise of another nation, and the demise of yours.

  3. Yes, we are.  Think about how the US government create propaganda and how they want to suppress the media ( Iraq war, office corruption ).  I believe this strategy is patented by the Chinese goverment. Patent no. 123456 ....

  4. NO...they are using our eagerness to collaborate with them to their advantage.  As our government and large businesses move to make to keep China happy and make that money, China is taking notes.  They are a communist country but they operate a cutthroat capitalist economy with that iron fist.  The Chinese are taking notes and all the stuff we're selling to them, they're taking it apart and building their own.  Our government isn't watching it's back, and China's going to turn the economic tables on us.

  5. Given that this is in the Vietnam category, are you referring to the Vietnamese government leaders? They actually have not been criticizing China lately because they are trying to gain good relations. However, there is always the opportunity to criticize them because Vietnamese people do not like Chinese (at least they don't like the Chinese government) because they think the Chinese want their land, etc. (Spratleys, Paracel Islands).

But as I said before, the current Vietnamese government policy towards China is engagement.

  6. Lord I hope we're not becoming communist.

  7. China is a communist. We better not become like them.
