I need some ideas because I am fried. Looking to spend $500 or less.

Thanks.

  1. Get your best man or a relative to drop off a small gift basket to her on the morning of the wedding. You could include all the things she loves- some of her favourite flowers, chocolates, some strawberries, cheese, or whatever it is that you know she loves. If you want to include something she can keep, maybe a pair of earrings (e.g. pearl earrings or small diamond earrings that fit within your budget) or a string of pearls.

Most importantly, write a card telling her how much you love her and how you're looking forward to getting married- she'll be able to keep the card forever.

  2. How about a day at the spa either solo or with you.  When all is said and done the both of you are going to be fried.

  3. Don't stress about the price; under $500 is very do-able and appropriate. There are too many other wedding-related expenses to worry about and your gift to your bride doesn't need to break the bank.

Traditionally this would be a necklace or other piece of jewelry, but ideally, this would be something more symbolic of your lives together or of your wedding. A nice idea is something that will remind her of your days pre-marriage or something that represents where you two are planning to honeymoon.

Sentiment wins out over materialism almost every time!

    Cheers & Good Luck!

  4. Jewelry is always appropriate.  If she wears pierced earrings, you could get her a nice pair of diamond stud earrings or a nice diamond dangle (simple drop).  If she likes bracelets, you could get here a diamond tennis bracelet.  If she likes silver, you could buy here a wide bangle bracelet.  If she likes pearls, you could buy a simple strand of pearls.  Go to a reputable jeweler.  Congratulations!  She will love what you pick.  Make sure it is wrapped beautifully by the store or have someone help you.

  5. Jewelry always works best .

Look up Tiffany. There are many things in your price range.

  6. Diamond earrings would be good.

Or maybe a string of pearls?

Traditionally, groom's gift to bride is a gift of permanence . . . . such as jewelry.

  7. an easy present is to upgrade the room for the "after wedding festivities".

you can pay the manager at the hotel to go into your room and chill some Champagne, then right before you two get up to the room, (you can call before you two walk into the hotel or are on your way) have them light a ton of candles and sprinkle flower petals on the bed. Have some soft music playing when you two walk in.

It's rather easy but it will mean the world to her, and it will be a memory that she will cherish FOREVER, guaranteed.

    Hope this helps :)

  8. The more personal you can make this gift, the better, and it doesn't need to be something incredibly expensive if you have put a lot of thought into it.  My husband has a watch collection, so I got him a titanium watch (to match his wedding band) and had my maid of honor bring it to him, along with a card telling him how much I loved him and was looking forward to spending my life with him.  He, in turn, gave me a quaich, a traditional Scottish drinking cup, and a sign of friendship (he's a Scot, and I'm American).  Its presence in our home always makes me smile.

Think of something that is specific to her, or to your relationship.  Also, I like the idea of something permanent rather than a gift basket or flowers, so every time she sees it, or wears it, or whatever, she can think "he gave me this on our wedding day."

    Congratulations and good luck!

  9. A GIFT WILL BE NICE BUT I THINK YOU SHOULD DO SOMETHING MORE SPECIAL LIKE PUT ROSE PETALS IN THE BED SHAPED IN A HEART WITH YOUR INITIALS  CANDLES EVERYWHERE WINE  SO WHEN YOU CARRY HER INSIDE THE ROOM SHE WILL BE SURPRISED  AND HAPPY AND TO TOP IT OFF YOU CAN GIVE HER A PRESENT.

  10. what about a puppy?

i would love that if my fiance did that for me

  11. Your wedding rings are your gift to each other on your wedding day.  If you want to, have her ring engraved with "Love forever, Stanley 8/23/08" or have the florist bring her a single (or a dozen) red rose with a card from you when she is getting ready at the church.

  12. your mom.
