As unhealthy as they are, do crash diets really work if you need to lose a certain amount of weight fast?

  1. not gunna lie yeah they do, but you cant control where you loose and you dont feel so great


  2. they are stupid because they ruin muscle mass.what the use of losing muscle when must lose only FAT?

    as soon as you start eating again

    you put it alllll back on

    cause you've made your metabolism so slow.

    when you begin eating properly.

    so just do it the long way.

  4. They can do, but don't stay on them too long as your metabolism will end up really slow.

    i have a fantastic diet:

    Piece of toast and 1/2 grapefruit or small amt juice for breakfast

    Lean meat (not ham) and salad for lunch. 1-2 days a week have just fruit

    Lots of steamed veg with a small amount of meat for dinner.

    Avoid all fat, and have very little carb apart from the toast. Eat loads of veg and salad so you aren't hungry, and avoid any creamy or sugary type sauces. You'll lose about 1lb a day, but only do it for about 10 days at a time. Then have 1-2 weeks of eating sensibly and repeat if necessary. This is low calorie, but has lots of fruit and veg so probably isn't too bad. I find that as long I stay eating pretty sensibly afterwards I keep the weight off.
