  1. It's caused by a process called, condensation. The moisture content of the ambient air condenses onto the cold surface of the glass.


  2. Warm air is known to carry more moisture than cold air. The water vapor present in the warm air condenses on the glass or bottle because it has a temperature less than or equal to the dew point. In case you don't know, the dew point is the temperature to which air must be cooled for saturation to occur.

  3. pretty much the same way your hands get sweaty......no but yea its because the ice is melting and the coldness of it cause condensation therefore making it sweat (or wet on the outside of the cup)
