As you go inland does the % of water in the soil increases/ decreases in a marram grass?

  1. hey there i did this for geography got A* well as marram grass tends to live in sand there will be increae of water as you go further inland. bassically marram grass has long roots and has a waxy coating and tubed leaves to reduce transpiration which show there must be less water in dunes.as soil absorbs water easy you travel further trough the samosphere flora increase vegatation much thicker and bigger plants which show % of water is more inland then dunes. if you compare the marram grass compared to other flora (plants) you will see that marram grass is suited for  more harsh conditions such as places with little nutrients and water compared to a bush or so further inland. =) also think about the location and what plants look like for ideas also the geological features of the area whether its hilly or not =) hope its helped thanks .
