Asalaamu 'Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah...a question?

Why is it that, if you mention you are Muslim people tend to take your opinions, comments, conversation, etc. as less important then if a non-Muslim did? There have been times where i would say basically the same thing as someone else of a different religion but would get less or no credit...it happens a lot on this site too...to tell the truth i don't even know why i waste my time here anyway, feeling mad at times when people insult Islam. and most people they are so stubborn...anyways, have any of you Muslim brothers and sisters ever felt this way?

I appreciate anyone who takes the time of their day to answer, Jazak Allah khair, May Allah bless us and give us the courage to become closer to Him. Ameen

Salaam

  1. U need to go to the GCC countries to see the difference. First they will greet u and if u don't return the salaam they'll feel real bad. The people who u r talking 'bout r not real muslims. They act so.

  2. people insult all religions as they are ignorant im christian orthodox from Egypt and i go to these sites and find it hard to believe what people say about any religon its discusting and shamful.

all i can tell u is god be with them man

  3. Wa 'Alaikum Asalaamu Wa Rahmatullah,

talking about YA actually i used to answer in the engineering section and i got many best answers and many askers of non-Muslims asked me by mail whether im Muslim or not because i use the greeting of Islam in the beginning of my answer, like 'Salam', well some of them requested to add me on messenger, on the other hand try to answer on the R & S and be prepared to be insulted with your belief!

  4. wa alaykum as salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu bro/sis.

why does it happen?i dont know. i never take the words of a muslim (shia or sunni) to be of less importance. infact i prefer those than that of a non-muslim. naturally for a non-muslim , s/he's gonna hate wat a muslim says.

anyway the gcc stuff that the india thing said was nonsence. i dont think he even answered the Q. i stay in a GCC land and these days the arabs trying to be 'khool' have stopped saying salaam. i dont know if all arabs have done that but most arabs do. i stay in the ksa.
