http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Asamoah-Gyan-c6791, the 25-year-old Sunderland striker, revealed he was prepared to return for the Black Cats in the upcoming season of the English Premier League.
Gyan joined Sunderland in 2010 from Ligue 1 side Rennes on a four-year deal for a fee of £13 million, the highest the club have paid for a player.
Since arriving at the Stadium of Light, the Ghanaian striker has scored 11 goals in 33 matches in all competitions, with 10 of those goals coming in the Premier League.
Gyan said in an interview:
“I'll definitely be a better player next season.
As I said before I came here, it was my dream to play in the English Premier League. I feel I have established myself now, but there is more to come.”
Having previously had experience in the Serie A and the Ligue 1, Gyan admitted the English Premier League was the toughest league.
He revealed he was still adjusting to English football but was certain he would perform better in the upcoming season.

The Ghana insisted there had been plenty of good players who had not managed to perform in the English Premier League in their first season there.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ghana-c2905 striker continued:
“It's the most difficult league in the world and you need to be 100 per cent fit to survive, which I wasn't when I arrived.
There have been plenty of good players who have come to the Premier League and not done well, so it just shows how difficult it is.”
With Sunderland having been busy in the summer transfer window, Gyan can expect to see a lot of new faces when he returns from vacation for the pre-season training.
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has signed the likes of Ipswich Town striker Connor Wickham and South Korean forward http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ji-Dong-Won-c18522.
