Asbestos in the air?

How long does asbestos last in the air or in a room?

After some DIY'ing, we removed insulation board from a cupboard. A week later we've discovered this was probably asbestos.

How long would the dust take to clear out from the room? :(

you should get expert advise, asbestos hasnt been used in the UK for 40yrs,or so, so if your house is younger than that, its unlikely to be asbestos

If it was asbestos it's already in your lungs. Fingers crossed, as it doesn't always turn to mesothelioma. Use your brain next time.
