  1. lol no, u have a better chance introducing a person to solve ur problem, they will kill anything.

  2. Chinese wasps are specie specific insect parasites. The wasps you are thinking of that moderatly effect plants are probably the oriental gall wasp.

Chinese wasps lay their eggs on the eggs of the insect. they hatch and consume the hosts larvae. They are similar to any other beneficial insect.

yes they should be used, benefical insects are the best form of biological control.

  3. I think they should release some Chinese Wasps.

This is from an article I found -

"Scientists say the best hope for fighting it is a nemesis from the borer's native China: three species of tiny, stingless wasps that kill the pest's eggs and larvae."

It seems like the scientists allready know all about the wasps.

I also agree with you about when you say "i think that they may kill something else like the ash borer did."

If some scientists put some of the Chinese Wasps in a small controlled forrest environment with the border bugs, that would clearly show what would happen.

But based on what I have read about the Wasps is that they are harmless to people, and eat the eggs of the border bugs.

So I think think they should introduce Chinese Wasps.
