Ashford for shopping?

i know they got the outlet centre mcarthur glen but what town like for shopping.

Ashford is a good shopping area, but if like me ,you go by train from RYE  ,the walk isnt the best into the town, however, the buses are outside the stn, but in winter you freez wating for a bus ,

i live in ashford, and i would say its ok, it has alot of stuff there, but, not much in the way of clothe stores but u should just go there once and see what u think, everyone has different opinions,
