of the English squad for the on-going Ashes.

The former left-arm spinner, while speaking to reporters, said that he has had a wonderful relationship with Pietersen since the start of the batsman’s international career. Giles vows to keep enhancing their friendship, despite the fact that he is now a
part of the team management.
“I think we just get on. We got on back when we played together and we do now. I am honest with Kev and he is honest with me. We have had a strong relationship and I don't see why that should change now I am a coach and he is a player,” the former cricketer
said.
Pietersen has already scored more than 13 thousand runs at the highest stage of the sport with the help of 31 centuries. Taking into account his ability to change the complexion of a game single-handedly, the lanky batsman can make a strong impact in the
Ashes.
Giles feels that Pietersen is hungry for success and wants to play a big role in the on-going battle.
He added, “His record speaks for itself. The guy can handle pressure and thrives on it a lot. He looks healthy, confident, is working as hard as ever and looks really hungry. He just looks like he is back on it and excited about the Ashes.”
According to the sporting analysts, if the hard-hitting batsman can remain fit, he can deliver the goods in international cricket for another couple of years.
