  1. I'll pass.  I remember she was touted as the American Anna Kournikova when she first came onto the scene because of her looks, but in my opnion she pales in comparison to Anna both in her looks as well as her tennis.  The only similarity she has to Kournikova is that they both have never won a singles title.

  2. She seems a bit flat. Dragging tennis girls down to a new low. Her boyfriend/coach is a control freak pervert and she's stupid for doing his bidding. He made a ton of money off her butt (literally!)

  3. Wow! I found Ashley Harkleroad Playboy nude video at http://sowonder.net/video/?d=Ashley_Hark...

    She so seXXXy ;)

  4. I think it was a bad decision.

  5. I completely agree with Robert. Why is she doing this, so she could become more popular? LOL. But then again it's her decision, and when someone makes a decision, it means they have thought and considered about it really well.

  6. Yeah if  that what she wants to do then we should let her, i think she thought this though with her family and friends.  and if there ok with her posing for playboy then we should be ok with that too. who are we to judge her.

  7. Nah.  I mean, in some ways she will become popular.  But it's a little S****y.  Some tennis prudes will really look down on this decision.  Overall, I don't think it was smart.  It's kind of sad.  It's like she is dying for attention.

  8. i just find it rather naive,to be honest. i have nothing against people who do this, but to listen to her short answer in the press, she sounds really naive about it.

“I thought about it, and it was something that I did,” Harkleroad said after the match. “I’m proud of my body. I was representing a female athlete’s body.”

    then

“I’ll be the first tennis player ever. That’s kind of cool,” Harkleroad said.

just sounds a bit like an attention w***e to me. she wasn't getting the attention for her play.....so what better way than this, she thinks. plus, perhaps,a jealousy of what sharapova has recieved and ana ivanovic, jelena & serena. and if she really believes this is going to help women's tennis and her career, ultimately, she's deluded. firstly,i don't think anybody will really care what some underhyped, lacklustre player ranked 61,who never wins titles, does(when amanda beard and gabrielle reese did it they were on top, ashley is not) and i don't really think that is the kind of history-making attempt that will give tennis any substance at all. and somebody also mentioned her coach/boyfriend.....he's quite a bit older than she is i noticed....was kind of suprised by that after she was married to bogomolov. perhaps he has pushed that onto her?

btw, even anna kournikova has her standards. we all know the things she's done but that's one thing she's refrained herself from doing, vocally. because sometimes that kind of thing can be detrimental to one's career or just continue to stagnate. i wish her well, but i don't this will matter much.

  9. umm....YES
