Ashley Riera seeking success in the Grade S1 RGOA Members Trophy Race
Ashley Riera leads the line-up of the Grade S1 RGOA Members Trophy Race at Romford over 575 metres flat on Wednesday, 30th May. Contesting against him for the £140 prize money are Lynton Choco, Lismadine Sarah, Boo Boos Bella, Belief and Foxie
Star.
Hades Rocket’s four-year-old fawn son out of b***h, Orpheus, penetrated in to the new season on 4th January in a Grade S1 575 metres flat at Romford. He ended third after racing for 36.57 seconds while the race was won by Droopys Linford.
Finishing the race closest was Bridge Diamond.
His first seasonal success was in a Grade S1 575 metres flat race on 11th February at Romford once he reached the other end of the wire in 36.92 seconds. Fabulous Lauren finished the closest after racing for 37.00 seconds.
He then won a Grade S1 575 metres flat race on 18th February at Romford. The 11/4 favourite was done racing in 36.01 seconds and led the runner up, Moody Blonde, by one and a half lengths.
The runner up concluded the race in 36.13 seconds.
From 3rd May till 23rd May, Ashley Riera did not drive down the third position, won twice, came second twice and then ran into a third position through the last five races.
He settled as the runner up behind the 2/1 favourite, Nice N Furry, in a Grade S2 575 metres flat at Romford as the winner timed the distance in 36.18 seconds. Ashley Riera was through in 36.28 seconds and was soon joined by Paris Gift.
On 7th May, Ahsley Riera won a Grade S2 575 metres flat race at Romford by timing the track distance in 35.96 seconds and was joined by Pouldine Warrior after a minor gap of a short head’s difference.
The other joint favourite of the race, Dudleys June, ended third after racing for 36.08 seconds.
His till yet last success was in a Grade S1 575 metres flat race on 17th May at Romford after he had raced for 36.35 seconds. He led the runner up, Genesis Cougar, by a neck’s difference.
He has the potential and ability to capture the race tonight.
