Manchester United’s Ashley Young feels that the mind set and self belief that the Red Devils have gone on to establish this season has been the difference for the team and has been the reason for them performing so well.
This past weekend, United went on to beat West Brom by two goals to nil and following Swansea’s victory over Manchester City, the Red Devils went on to leap their local rivals, as they went on to take over the number one spot in the league table.
United are now sitting one point ahead of City and with just ten games to go in the season, it is rather unclear as to who is going to come out on top.
The Manchester based club have gone on to beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in recent weeks and Young feels that none of this would have been possible, had the team not believed in themselves and each other’s ability.
The Red Devils attacker, when talking about his team’s performances this season and just how they have turned the season around is quoted to have said: “We felt if we came through those tough away fixtures we would be setting ourselves up for the rest of the season.”
"We have managed to do that and now our home form is key.”
"A lot of people might not have thought we would be in front of City but we have that belief."
Despite United being on top at the moment, it is safe to say that anything is possible over the remainder of the season.
City and United are still on course to play against each other and many believe that the game between the two teams could prove to be the title decider.
Nonetheless, the only way for City to overtake United is if they continue to win all their remaining games and avoid any more slip ups, like the one they suffered against Swansea.
It is now going to be a wait to see just which team from Manchester ends up going all the way, in order to claim the title of being Champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
